Upgrade your adventure with a picnic lunch on a secluded beach or cay. We are sorry to dissapoiint but owing to COVID-19 restrictions we can only provide picnics to guests on excursions.
Island snorkelling and picnic adventures for up to six guests are $1000.
Snorkelling and picnic safaris at a sand cay on the Great Barrier Reef are $1,760 for two people and $2,500 for three or four people.
Please Note: Picnics are non-refundable, however, if an island transfer, (or charter), has been booked in conjunction with a picnic and the trip is cancelled due to bad weather, there is no charge for the trip, and the picnic hamper will still be presented to you to enjoy at a mainland location.
We have 3 types of picnic hampers:
* Catering to individual dietary requirements is our speciality.
All picnic hampers include:
Esky with hamper, picnic rug, sun shelter, cutlery, acrylic crockery, napkins, tablecloth, and water.
Now, which secluded beach......
Dunk Island is the closest and very popular with locals. We'll do our best to get you into one of the beaches that you can only access by boat.
Bedarra Island is frequently requested but bear in mind that it is privately owned so you can't explore above the tide line.
If you are after a seculded get away or a fun day with family and friends then we reccomend Kent Island or other secret locations in the Barnard Island Group.
We wish to thank Gary for his photo contributions - cheers!
* Please note there are no toilet facilities aboard 'Brahminy'.
We encourage all our guests to read about our terms and conditions here.
